This 20” inch x 20” inch acrylic canvas painting shows the seven chakra energy centers of the body, giving a nod to ancient Hindu teachings. The word chakra comes from Sanskrit, meaning “wheel” or “circle” representing spinning vortexes of subtle body energy.
In this painting Jill got the effects of the splashes and swirls by watering down the paint and bowing air through a straw to move the paint around in a random pattern. Gold and silver paint accents on the human figure.
